Prices: Contact us!
Duration:   3 days/ 2 nights
Start Date: Upon Request
Depart From: Hanoi
Destination(s) to visit: Travel around Hue Vietnam
Tour Program:
The UNESCO World Heritage town of Hue in central Vietnam is a must see destination. The eclectic and mesmerizing tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam reveal fascinating insights into the lives of the imperial families and their subjects. The ancient citadel reflects the pomp and ceremony of the dynastic rulers, as well as the scars of many years of turmoil, both ancient and modern (the Royal Citadel was badly damaged in the latter stages of the war). Even so, it retains a sense of grace and majesty even today.

Modern Hue is a delightful city of wide boulevards and period buildings set in a picture-postcard landscape. The local university is renowned as one of the country's finest and the local cuisine is regarded by many as the best in Vietnam.

Day 1:  Arrive Hue (B/L)
Arrive in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, and transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 2: Hue (B)
Start by taking a leisurely boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Constructed in 1601, the 21-meter tall tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda and a symbol of the city. Continue to The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument depart to the Mausoleum of Tu Duc. Built decades before its occupant's death, the tomb was used as a palace retreat before its final use as the emperor's resting place. Finish up the day at Khai Dinh's Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design but accented with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue.

Overnight in Hue.
